Earlier this month, U.S. News & World Report announced the winners of their "2017 Best Cars for Families" awards, and the 2017 Lincoln MKX took home the top prize for "Best Luxury 2-Row SUV." These awards recognize the vehicles that best meet the needs of modern families, from transporting children to school and activities to helping out an aging family member.
To select their award winners, U.S. News & World Report looked at more than 200 new cars, minivans and SUVs, using an analytic approach that combines professional reviews, reliability and safety ratings, seating and cargo volume data and the availability of family-friendly features. In each of the 18 automotive award classes, the vehicle that received the highest composite score was named the winner of that category.
