Lincoln Motor Company announced earlier this month that February sales for February jumped 9 percent compared to sales for February 2016. For the month, Lincoln reported a total of 8,744 vehicles sold throughout the United States.

Lincoln car sales helped propel the month's success, delivering an increase of 16.2 percent -- gains boosted by customer interest in the all-new Lincoln Continental, which sold 1,079 vehicles during the month.

Lincoln SUVs also delivered excellent results in February, boasting a 4.9 percent sales gain. The Lincoln MKX was up one percent on sales of 2,390 vehicles, while the Lincoln MKC saw sales of 1,959 vehicles -- leading to a tidy 12.2 percent improvement over February 2016 results.
