When you purchase a new Lincoln vehicle, and drive it home from our dealership in South Bend for the first time, you may find yourself falling in love. Everything about it is exquisitely tailored to meet your expectations for excellence. It's natural to want to keep it looking its best.

Over time, however, you notice the paint looks dull. Despite keeping it meticulously clean, your Lincoln's paint is covered with fine scratches and swirls.

What went wrong?

Your paint is the victim of "over-touching." In trying to maintain the vehicle's spotless appearance, you touched it up too often without the proper tools. Wiping with a dry cloth or a terry towel drags dust and dirt particles over the surface of your car, creating small abrasions. Using a waterless cleaning product or spray wax for spot-cleanings can alleviate the problem, but not eliminate it.

To keep your Lincoln's paint pristine and scratch-free, only touch it using a clean microfiber towel, and only after rinsing with a hose first.
